Function & Form Physiotherapy & Exercise is a unique client/ patient experience. It is where acute injury rehabilitation meets functional exercise.
A patient who makes an appointment will have one complete hour with the physiotherapist who will take a thorough history. A provisional diagnosis is made, appropriate treatment administered and a series of exercises given to work on the relevant areas.
The focus is on return to the relevant activity or sport of the individual. In many cases patients return to sport or activity, fitter, healthier and leaner than before.
The practice owner Rebecca Micich is both an Exercise Physiologist and Physiotherapist and as such, is able to discuss diet and nutrition and formulate plans to achieve enhanced athletic performance, injury recovery, or weight loss.
Practice Beginnings
Function and Form began on the Lower North Shore in 2007 whilst working full time as a Physiotherapist (although also a qualified Exercise Physiologist). Among her physiotherapy patients there was a growing demand to administer a more functional top end rehabilitation following injury or surgery.
Thus began Function and Form Physiotherapy and Exercise, North Sydney, a boutique personal training studio and physiotherapy space for intimate one on one or two on one training sessions, combined with physiotherapy.
