Non starter. Sales rep came out to do quote. 3 weeks later, no quote and won't return emails or phone calls. Manage to contact admin at company HQ, was promised follow up but again no contact from the company. No quote, no explanation - seems like they just disappeared. Weirdest experience I've had from a company.

The guys at Garage Door & Gate Solutions were fantastic and really helped us out of a pickle. Another company really botched the job on our new garage door so much that we couldn't open our garage door for weeks and they had caused damage to our house. So we got Garage Door & Gate Solutions to make a new garage door for us to replace the dodgy one. They rushed the order through and in just over 2 weeks they installed a very high quality garage door that met all our requirements in terms of headroom etc. The Colorbond finish of the door and the quality of the installation is great and the door is very quiet and smooth in operation. I just wish I had of ordered from them in the first place to save myself a lot of hassle.
Bottom line: These guys delivered exactly what we wanted and their customer service was great. I would recommend them to anyone in Melbourne who wants a high quality garage door.

Awesome service. Called up, gave them door size, they confirmed spring size and price, then double checked they were in stock. Went in to showroom and was treated by a helpful and friendly person. Would highly recommend.

i have never written a review before - but i'm so angry, i need to vent. Ordered a Door 8 weeks ago, followed them up after 3 weeks - they hadn't ordered the door because they couldn't get the option we wanted. at no point did they call us to let us know, we had to chase them.

Then we ordered a different door, on the day of installation (where i had to take a day off work), they call when they are due to be here to say the door we had ordered actually doesn't work with our measurements. At no point during the order process, did anyone bother to tell us that.

I would not deal with them at all, given the amount of chasing up required. Also internal processes seem to be shocking - no one seems to know what is going on.

I'm very happy with the job. The man (sorry I forgot his name) repaired a very old garage door, replaced springs, serviced and changed the lock. Door has been working beautifully tho he gave no warranty on such an old door. The best thing he charged $200 less than an over the phone quote I got from a place in Murrumbeena.

I was happy with these guys. I got them to install a garage door from scratch; they did a great job and I would recommend them to friends.

They installed a B & D panel lift door in Mar 2008, cable snapped Nov 2009, happened on weekend before Melb Cup, as they don't work weekends, public holidays or the days before public holidays car trapped in garage for 5 days.
I suggested that failure after 18 months would indicate either a problem with the product or installation was then informed that such a failure was normal and would not be covered by warranty and would cost $275 plus $25 per 1/4 hr to fix.

Tuesday morning, running late for work, press the button on garage remote and the door goes up about a foot and bang! a cable snaps and I cant get out. Call these guys and they have someone out within the hour! Very helpful, took my distress call, asked lots of questions about what was happening with the door. Sent the right man with the right parts, he replaced both cables so it wouldn't happen again. Gave us tips on maintenance because we're near the bay and charged total of $225 including $150 call out fee. Excellent service and I was at work by 10am!
