I called Gary Renouf Plumbing a couple weeks ago due to no hot water all of the sudden and I saw water leaking out of the exterior of the hot water heater. They came the same day! The guy who came, Sam I think was his name, was Extra friendly and informative. He checked everything out first, with me right over his shoulder. He informed me my hot water heater was about 12 years old. I have only owned the house for 3 years and have no idea when this hot water heater was installed. I opted for full replacement of this old electric heater with a new gas hot water heater. He got a new one that same day and put it in. Yessss, hot water restored. The install was very professional and he stepped me thru the process of lighting it off and ensured I was informed of how to do it if required

I don't normally write reviews as i never seem to find the time, but after dealing with every kind of tradesmen around Sydney that just want to rip you off, I feel the need to do my bit in helping others to finally find a quality trustworthy plumber out there in Gary Renouf Plumbing.
He is one of the few true professionals i would trust to fix any problem in my house, and due to it's age, it needs a fair bit of fixing.
He deserves 5 stars

I've just had some plumbing repairs to my three toilets and gas piping installed so i can change my old electric water heater to a gas one. It was good that he could do both pieces of work at the same time. Everything was done well and explained clearly. I will be getting him back to change over the water heater when i'm ready

Unfortunately I know nothing about plumbing, so when my hot water tank started spewing forth water, I was left to the mercy of a professional. I'm fortunate to have Stumbled onto Gary Renouf Plumbing after receiving outlandish quoted prices from two other firms. Gary was able to put my brand new gas heater in for almost half the price the others were telling me. A good company and easy to recommend

They installed a new gas water heater. The work was done well, and they were efficient and very friendly. They tidied up after the work was done, and I have already recommended them to my neighbor who also had them install their new heater.

I received a professional and competent service.
The plumber who came to do the job was fast, efficient and clean.
We had a toilet that was leaking intermittently and as you would expect, it stopped leaking the minute he knocked on the door. I thought it might be difficult to fix if he couldn't see the leak, but he was able to successfully identify the problem and permanently repaired it.
