Will not recommend Gateway Holden service centre for repairs . Had my car booked in for a recall on the electric steering . My car had no noises. No faults in pristine condition and Well maintained . I picked up my car from having the electric steering motor replaced l Drive down the driveway and noticed a loud noise from the right hand side front end . I rang the service centre immediately and told them about the noise. The female said to bring the car in the The following morning I arrive to gateway Holden and ask if I could speak to the manager about the noise coming from the car . The manager wouldn’t leave his office to come out to chat with me and told the female staff that the mechanic said there was noise already there before hand . I then after immediately rang Wilsons Holden and told them about the situation . Soon as I arrived to Wilsons Holden, I spoke to the manager he then requested a mechanic from the workshop to have a look at my car . Within 10 minutes, he found the problem and fixed it, and the noise stopped . Turns out the mechanics left, a bolt loose on the right hand side where the noise was coming from .. I was quite annoyed that the manager would not even have the decency to come out and discuss the situation and left it with the young girl to deal with. This is not very professional in my books.

Your spare parts service is a joke!
I've called 3 times for a price on a tow bar and fitting, only to be put on hold for over 15 minutes, hung up on, and diverted to leave a voice message! Sorry, the swear message left was me.
There will not be a fourth call!

We went to look at their used cars and were shown a new car on a deal this month only. We were constantly pressured into taking it that day and while we asked for a trade in price for our car they said they couldn't tell us that until we committed to buy. We left and they have been calling every other day to see what it would take to get us to buy it. Even going so far as to say give us a price and I'll talk to the boss but if I do then you'll definitely buy it.
These are where car salesmen get their bad reputation!

I was told when paying for a service that next service my brakes would need the pads and rotors done. When told that a full brake reline and rotor skim was done 2weeks earlier, some "checking with the mechanic" was done & I was informed that Mitsubishi brake pads were much thinner than others leading to the misjudgment. I didn't tell them they weren't Mitsubishi but Ferodo pads.
