I love this place. All the gelato is vegan and high quality. The staff are lovely and it's excellent value. In Summer time I often pop in on my way to and from movies and appointments to grab a scoop or two. I also ordered my ice cream birthday cake from here last April and it was a big hit!

Love this place, it nails a few things well that aren't hard to achieve but often lacking:

> The staff know their product
> The staff chat to you
There are many many many gelato flavours to choose from, and a selection of sorbets. The range of vegan products is pretty impressive.
I grabbed a coffee and cherry ripe slice. Both were awesome!
Ate these upstairs with my mate and then had two flavours of gelato on a waffle cone - Baklava, and the other was Toblerone. Both melted in my mouth and I reckon the Baklava is award winning.
I'll be honest, I couldn't get my head around an icecream tasing like Baklava - it did! And awesomely so.
It's not hard to get my loyalty, this place has it.

yum. Gelato is easy to get in newtown. There are 3+ places to get this fab italian treat. So, which one to visit?, depends on what you want. What i like most about gelato blue is that the flavours are original- marscapone and balsamic cherry? tick, baklava? tick, pavlova? tick tick tick. Interesting ones and the originals- hazelnut, coffee etc etc. Its not cheap, but its a good price for what you get. you can eat on or take away and there are vegan options also. Coffee and cakes also available. About 7-8$ for 3 scoops.

I've recently purchased one of the deals from groupon for a two scoop gelato at Gelato Blue at Newtown. There are 33 different flavours of gelato to choose from as they all look so great. I have finally made my choice and from the first mouthful I realized that this must be one of the best tasting gelatos I have ever had. Absolutely love it and will be going back this weekend for more

Had some exquisite gelato here, frozen raspberry ripples in vanilla just delicately flavoured with rose - added a whole new dimension to the gelato. Just at the right gelato melting temperature and I was in heaven. The chocolate is also sublime.

Amazingly genuine friendly service was the first thing I noticed as I walked in. Great range of gelato flavours and price is ok considering the quality of the gelato.

Throughout all season, this gelato is phenomenal! There's so much variety, but being a chocoholic I mostly stick to the chocolate and Ferrero Rocher flavour. I'm usually not too keen on Sorbets, but their passionfruit one is to die for! I'd definitely recommend heading out here for a gelato any day!

Despite it being a relatively cold day I just couldn't resist the sight of the huge variety of flavours of gelato. I settled for honey macadamia and it was absolutely divine! It seemed a little pricey at first but the serving was actually quite generous and the sheer deliciousness of the gelato certainly made up for it! Kudos to gelato blue!
