Yum Yum Yum!! Whether you're an ice cream fan or not, this place is to be enjoyed by all. Featuring unimaginable special flavours every week, this place is well worth the wait in the queue!

This is the best ice cream and gelato I have ever had! I have got friends to travel to Melbourne just to try it. It is so hard picking what flavours to get, but they will give you samples while you choose. If you love chocolate flavoured ice creams you will be in heaven! I go for the fruit gelato, like passionfruit and lychee. So yummy.

Ice cream is becoming a burgeoning industry, with more interesting and exciting flavour combinations popping up. Gelato Messina is no exception, in fact I think they're at the top of the bunch. They have the most deliciously crafted ice creams, with some really tasty, fresh, additions (biscuits, curds, donuts, you name it!) They tend to get a line down the street after dinnertime, but it's worth the wait. I tend to find afternoon tea time is the best time to go. Well worth a visit, they have flavours to suit everyone and it is so. so. yummy.

Took my girlfriend here and lets just say i know we'll be making a lot more trips back. Sometimes you do have to wait a little while to get served but when you get that sweet sweet gelato LOOK OUT because its really good slightly expensive but so so good highly recommend trying at least once!

Gelato here is unbelievably good. Right up there. And although I have not tried the gelato cakes, they look amazing. Something to add to the bucket list. Only drawback is how busy it is (which is a reflection of the quality) and as such the queues can be a put off at times. It was pouring rain the night we went and even then, there were people waiting! Key here is be patient and you will be rewarded.

Omg this place amazing ...love the selection its a funky little lounge area with good music, friendly staff, always busy but worth lining up for and the wait this icecream is the best I have ever had really amazing will be back soon.

My boyfriend took me to messina last month, when we got there - WOW many people are lining up for ice cream.. so surprised! long queue .. people were covering the ice cream selection display..after 10-15 mins wait, finally we got to see what sort of ice cream tht they are selling .. plenty of selection. we have chose our ice cream (coconut, strawberry, chocolate and pistachio) and we tried it. YUM. rich flavoured. Not that pricy either.. so for those who have not try , please give it a go.. because you might like it :)

Awesome gelato and ice cream! They sell "tiny" serves if you have kids for $3. Remember to check out the specials boards as it is easy to be distracted by the big dome mounds of gelato in the fridge.

I feel like the last half of last year everyone was talking about Gelato Messina and how they're the best in Melbourne. I have to agree. Great selection of flavors to choose from though I always find it gets incredibly busy and a bit of a wait for service but I don't mind it too much, I always end up striking a conversation with the person in line behind me. I feel like it brings out great vibes in everyone.
