I heard my good friend rave about this place I had to go try it myself - and it actually lived up to all he raved on about!
new flavours per week ON TOP of the 35 flavours which are always in our cabinets any day of the week! you're sure to try a new winner everytime you go! But at $4.80 for one scoop in a cup, it can become an expensive habit, I've always gone with sampling each new flavour, then deciding what scoop i want in a cup.
pity the music's often pumping way too loudly to enjoy decent conversation, outside seating isn't the best when one hates passive smoking & extra-loud cars/motorbikes, but that can;t be helped. i always enjoy stopping here for dessert after a meal in Parramatta!

We recently visited here, after hearing so much great feedback from friends and family. We didn't think any special of the Gelato, actually we found the gelato to be tasteless.
The presentation of the Gelato is great, the girls let us try some before buying.
We bought a Misto serving 5 scoops, tiny scoops other Gelato outlets the servings are quite huge.

When Gelato Messina opened up at Parramatta, I was so extremely happy. (Just sad Wow Cow closed). The Gelato here is the same fabulous standard as the other stores. You cannot fault any of their delicious flavours.

I've been to every Messina in Sydney and when they recently opened up the Parramatta store I knew I had to trek it all the way out there to visit. Just like the other stores the service was fantastic, all the employees are very willing to let you sample plenty of the different flavours and give generous scoops. Considering the fact that it is gourmet gelato it is relatively cheap with a mini scoop starting at $3 and going up to a 1500ml tub for $26. All the flavours are always perfect but my favourite is banana split.
