After decades of avoiding going to a dentist because of some bad experiences as a child, l was finally braved an appointment at Gentel Hawthorn Dental to have a clean and check up. I already knew my teeth needed attention. From the moment l walked in to the dentist, l noticed how friendly the staff were and how clean the practice was. Dr Kim was friendly and l was at ease from the onset. After a thorough clean we discussed further procedures that l needed but was under no pressure to have. I have had 2 crowns done and l couldn't be happier with the results! Dr Kim talked me through out the procedures and made sure that l was comfortable at every stage. It was so easy! It has been a great recommendation.

I came to Gentle Dental, as i am a very scared and hesitant dentist goer. i had a toothache from years of neglect, unfortunately my own fault! As the name says....Gentle Dental, its true.
After fixing my broken tooth and also having a check up, I ended my appointment with Dr Kim quite impressed, she was caring and listened to everything i had to say. I must say its hard to find a dentist like this.
The surgery was modern, and very clean... i loved the tv above the chair and the intra oral camera was quite impressive, though maybe a little gross to see exactly what was in my mouth.
The staff were all very friendly and the lady (not sure of her name, Amy i think) at reception was very helpful and efficient. All in all i was impressed. I think i may even start to like going to the dentist...

i went on WOMOW because i was in so much pain ad needed a dentist near my work. i looked it up and this place came up so i called straight away. they saw me same day and i was out of pain in hours. thank you to the previous reviews!

I was looking at getting some cosmetic work done but was nervous about spending money and the quality i may receive. i had a consultation with a few dentists and knew the minute that i meet Dr Mclauchlan she was the way to go. she explained everything to me and made sure that i never and took part in every decision that was made. i finished up treatment a few months back and couldnt be happier with my decision. i cant stop smiling now i look like a whole new person and feel it too! definatley give her a call

I had this horrible toothache and as usual I put up with it as long as I could because I am very fearful of going to the dentist. I was told about this dentist by a girlfriend of mine and she takes her children there, so I went and I will never again go to any other dentist ever. I did not even feel the needle that I needed to numb the tooth and she was so gentle, exactly like the name. Now I don't dread going to the dentist as it doesn't hurt me, just my pocket, but that's expected and well I'm happy to pay for top service.
