Customer service is non existant. Placed order a week ago and have not heard a word. If they don't have stock they should at least let customers know. No response to emails or messages. Will not buy from them again

I’ve spent a lot of money at this store, but I’m done. The staff are rude, particularly the online chat service, who never seem to know anything helpful. There’s plenty of other camera stores, give this one a miss.

I was a bit concerned when I read some negative reviews after I'd placed an order with this company so I have to say that my experience was totally positive. My Canon R6 arrived just a few days following my order and when I phoned to ask why the EF-EOS-R adapter had not been delivered with the camera, was told that they had no stock and that it could be a couple of weeks, I was disappointed that I was unable to use the camera with my tele' lenses. I was able to find an adapter from another supplier within a few days and Georges agreed to cancel my order for the adapter ring and provide a full refund. A totally positive experience and I plan to buy from them again.

Just need to share my experience with George’s Cameras.
You will not know their stock status no matter from their site or call them. I first lay called of an order made 4/7, they said it will be arrived 12/7. Then in the latest email, still says 3 weeks away.
You will never get a full refund even the items are not picked up and opened. They charge you 10%. As they officially said, because of you, they ordered.
So, everyone, be prepared, first you will not know when can you get your things, and second, you are the one to pay for the risk of ordering stock.
What a clever strategy! Everyone who is selling online should learn, by doing this, you can keep charging one after one customer over one product.
If you are trying to buy, good luck!

AVOID GEORGES! Ordered a $1500 camera mid April, had received no order confirmation after 1 week so emailed and was advised it had to be ordered with 3 week eta, now 4 weeks later I had received no update from George’s, phoned them today and they advised camera was another 4 weeks away as it hadn’t been released by the manufacturer. Worst customer service EVER. Requested full refund.

EVERYONE DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE AS ME! GO ELSEWHERE! GEORGES DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER!

I purchased a lens which was shipped within a few days to the NT, very impressive and excellent service from Michael the sales representative. The following week I went online to purchase an accessory for the lens which was on sale, I wanted a week and no show, I called Georges and I was advised that the item had to be ordered from the supplier, its now over two and I still have to wait another week. My question is; why have online specials if the item is not in store? When I questioned this I was told that I should check with them before ordering, yep, not much good if one is waiting and not one bit of correspondence to advise otherwise. Next time I will shop around.

Went in looking for something very specific. While the shop was crowded with Christmas shoppers I was served straight away. The man serving me was friendly and offered me a range of products to chose from. This is the first store to stock the item that I was after which is very helpful. Prices are at Recommended Retail. Service was with a smile and I will definitely return.
