Its a nice place to get a value meal with white tablecloths and 'formal' experience. The views at Georges Paragon in Sanctuary Cove is amazing, but served the same quality food in Southport across the road from the Broadwater.

The food is stellar and you know why it has the reputation it does. It is great value and meals are half price if you sit before 6pm. The alcohol is reasonably priced and what you would expect from a restaurant of this quality.

George had quite a few restaurants on the Gold Coast and the food is consistent wherever you go. There aren't many places that you can get a french style meal for under $20, with cloth napkins and waiters in bow ties. The only catch is the grog and deserts - where they make their money. $8.50 for a house red is way over the top. But the consistently sumptuous meals make up for it.

The service was awesome, all staff were very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere and decor are very nice and there is a wide range of options of the menu. It is a seafood restaurant but I ordered steak which was a bit overcooked and the profiteroles for desert were definitely not freshly made. The value was as expected, the restaurant is not known for value. Overall I enjoyed the evening and would go there again and order differently.

The food is superb and if you go for the 'half price lunch or early dinner' then it's really really affordable. The view isn't as good as the George's in Sanctuary Cove but the food is just as good and the service is friendly.

We dined here for a farewell lunch for a fellow staff member. The food was great, large serves. They offer a 1/2 price lunch menu which at first we thought must be a gimmick but when you see the size of the meals and the final bill you will see that it is true.

This was the best restaurant we have experienced in a long time.......

The service was great, the meals for lunch were huge we could not finish all our meals. Even the kids meal of schnitzel was huge too big for the 2 of them.

The waiter knew his wines and attention to detail was great, supplied a highchair for my little one and gave the kids some small toys to amuse them during the meal.

Meals were reasonably prices, Geat atmosphere in the restaurant is so diseaving from the out side
