Georges Smash Repairs was referred to me by Subaru. George is extremely professional with a brilliant work ethic. After a minor mishap I had George repair my vehicle. I had my car back repaired within 24 hours and it was as exciting as if I was collecting my new car all over again. The car was immaculate.

I never pressured him for a finish date. He always promised to call back but on 5 occasions & never did. I had to keep pestering for any answers which made me feel like I was a pain. Upon pick up day I was promised ready at 4pm. At 5pm he was still working on the car as I waited an hour. He had to jump start the car so the engine was stone cold. As soon as it fired he revved it to 4 - 5,000 rpm (I spent $7,500 On this STI engine), thats the worst thing for any engine. Upon getting the dirty car back I found screws in console, he denied they were even from my car (why would screws from other car be in my car ?) I later found definate my car screws on the floor as well. A bed sheet was also taken from my car which he denied taking. There was a screw left undone near the work done. He denied touching it. The paint match under the bonnet was literally a different colour in the match, his reply I cannot paint match because my car is not new. The last repairer did paint match near perfect under bonnet.

there was 2 obvious paint runs & over 20 spots on the repair where the paint didnt stick. George's reply was obviously some crap in the spray booth when painting. The rear bar paint match was green on a blue car. With now no trust in his work to fix his awful repair work I returned my car on a day he was quiet for rectificacations & he knew I was waiting there (& not leaving it) for it arriving at 8am. Fully knowing I was unhappy & booked in he started repairs at 11.30. A very shifty & sneek smash repairer, PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE

I am glad to write this reference for George Smash Repairs. On several occasions I have asked for his advice and services and the outcome has always been more than exceptional. I have asked for his advice and services on several occasions. A few years ago I needed a quote for the repair of damaged to my car done by the boot barriers in one shopping centre. George was the only one who wrote the quote immediately after the inspection when other contractors had asked me to come another time of refused to write the estimate. Last year my son had a small accident and I went to George to inquire what the acceptable option will be for me: whether or not to repair with or without claiming it from the insurance company. For George it only took few seconds to explain to me the costs associated and the benefits of claiming it the expenses through the insurer. Not satisfied from the previous VIP services by the insurance company I am with at present, I have asked the insurer to proceed with the quotes by the two repairers selected by me. George Smash repair was the approved one. After leaving the car on Monday (convenient for me and George) I was surprised to receive a call that car is ready after only a week and a half. Obviously George has prepared and proceeded with organising and purchasing the parts before taking the possession of the car. I was more than pleased with the work done. The car looked as good as new. Obviously George did more than required works on my 10 year old car or it was just my first impression compared to my previous experiences with repairs managed by the insurance company. During the above visits to Georges office, there were always other customers coming and asking George for his advice or service. I always had to wait few minutes (no more than five minutes and not really an issue for me) but obviously George has a good name and his services are in demand in the area. For all of the above, I would recommend George Smash Repairs and personally George to anyone who may need a good smash repair contractor with a personal attention to the details.

Always not ready but still asked you to come, this result in either wait or come again - this + reluctant to admit problem + faulty parts + ?? --> a total visit of 10 times just for one single problem which is still not fixed !! What can I do ???
