Had a lovely buffet meal here last night for $20 pp. Started with deliciously crisp onion pakoras and pappadums, followed by smoky tandoori chicken, butter chicken, mixed vegetable curry, lentil dhal and a tender beef curry and fluffy rice of course. The curries were all rather mild (even the beef one which was labelled hot) so if you're new to Indian cuisine this is a good place to go. The garlic naan bread is superb and thankfully generously provided. There are also accompaniments such as cucumber yoghurt raita, salad and for dessert, vanilla custard with syrup laden sweet little dumplings called Gulab Jamuns. This is homestyle cooking in a casual friendly atmosphere, nothing pretentious about the ambience and there is plenty of parking out right out front. Buffet is available Fri and Sat nights and you can also order takeaway.

I had the $20 all you can eat smorgasboard which had 4 meals to chose from. There was a lentil one and a veg one. I tried the veg one and it was yummy. I also had the Butter Chicken which was quiet mild in spice heat and I had the Beef Vindaloo which is quiet hot in spice heat. The Entrees included in the smorgasboard were Onion Pakoras, I found these to be very yummy (has no meat) and I had Tandoori chicken pieces. Desert consisted of fresh fruit and custard as well as Gulab Jamuns - I won't tell you what is in them, but they are very very sweet. I put mine in the custard to try and tone down the pure sweetness of them. Overall, the price was great, the service was great and the smorgasboard is the best way to go to get to sample different dishes. I will be back for more.

The Naan bread is out of this world, the best ever. The people are lovely and accomodating, the range of food is fantastic. They are a very small operation and it looks like the good everything from scratch. Not somewhere to go if you are looking for a "fast food" restaurant.
