The food is ok there. Our family had our lunch at Gia Hoi last Saturday, one thing we did not like was a toddler sat on the table to play with the spoons and forks and helped a staff to put them back into the container. It was not professional as we use those spoons and forks to eat.

Gia Hoi is a place my friend enjoys dining at , and I accompanied her here the other day! Located on busy Canley Vale Road , it doesn't take us long to find a table once inside. It's your typical run of the mill Vietnamese Restaurant, simple decor, self serve condiments like sauces and cutlery line each table and several staff on the floor, eagerly awaiting to take your order!

I order the pho with beef slices and beef balls for $11. It's a generous serve with lots of soup and meat , but find this time the noodles were lacking in comparison. My friend ordered the spicy bun bo hue which is a spicy noodle dish with beef shank, ox tail, congealed blood jelly, shallots, onions, bean shoots, basil etc and she thoroughly enjoyed, not my cup of tea though! She told me she loves the spicy, sour , saltiness and sweet flavours all balanced in the noodle dish!

Whilst we were eating, I noticed a male waiter standing at the counter picking his nose, it out me off my food indeed! Won't be returning here in awhile anytime soon!

Great place for a quick Vietnamese fix! Sometimes the service isn't that great due to them being busy all the time. I've had to ask a couple of times for the same thing before I get it. Food is great tasting. I advise not to come here during peak periods as you probably won't get a set!

Gia Hoi is the place i come to for a quick Vietnamese tasty lunch. I come for the vermicelli, grilled pork and mixed herbs. You basically mix all the ingredients with the dipping sauce provided! Delish! Very tasty and satisfying.

Lots of parking nearby, so great place to come for a tasty feed, and cheap too!

I ordered take away tonight, they were busy as! People had to wait outside just to get an available table. Don't wait around to be served, make sure you get someone's attention to order so you don't have to wait for someone to come to you, otherwise you'd end up disappointed. I ordered 2x Take away Pho tai special's @ $9.90 each. Excellent value for money, Generous servings and an awesome Pho soup! Although if you're fussy, the broth is a bit sweet, a bit greasy, must be from the beef/ fat off cuts they use for the broth. I think thats why the broth was so authentic, i don't like broths that rely too much on the stock cubes lol but otherwise a very good broth! YUM! Make sure you order over the phone so you don't have to wait around lika noob lol coz it gets packed and theres not much places you can sit, coz there's only 2 seats for ppl to sit whilst waiting for their orders.

Approximate cost: $9.90

The best Bon Bo Hue ever, it is definitely a must try soup dish. Their shakes are also made to an excellent consistency and I assume they are made from fairly fresh fruit, but it depends on your order. Great price as i believe there is still a discount going on!

The food here is probably one of the best-value in the area. I've dined here regularly and would especially recommend the Bun Bo Hue [their specialty]. The food definitely isn't find-dining, but its tasty and affordable. Only downsides are that I have once found a bug on my lettuce, and a friend once had a piece of newspaper in their soup, but these are rare occasions and the cheap food makes up for it. Service is efficient, but nothing to rave about.

Nice place if you're looking for individual dishes rather than a shared meal. It's cheaper than other places but it a bit more oilier too. Otherwise, nice every so often.
