I am always quite sceptical when it comes to a coffee franchise, but Gloria Jean's is usually okay, and it's a good option when you just want a decent, fast coffee. Here however, the place was filthy and the coffee tasted bitter and foul. Not only that, but the staff were standing around chatting and were rude and disinterested.

Usually I am a coffee drinker and have found the coffees to be lovely.

Last time i went I had a chai latte for something different and really enjoyed it

I wish they had more sweet treats eg muffins so i can have it with my hot drink though

The bonus with this Gloria Jeans is that while there is no compromise with quality the shop is located inside Borders. This means you can read so many things while having your coffee or whatever. I found this very relaxing in the extra soft seating. Well done GJ's

Approximate cost: $3.80

Your cafe is a lovely place to take time out from the shopping and enjoy a lovely cup of tea with maybe some of your lovely fruit bread.

Not the best cup of coffee, they can do a lot better if they changed their beans. I am an espresso drinker and find its way too strong so maybe if they took that into account it would be better.

When you walk into Borders, you'll find Gloria Jeans Coffee. It is a relaxing place where you can have your coffee and read a book. The cafe assistants are friendly and always looking to serve you.
