As a first-class department store David Jones is always very impressive, in terms of store layout and atmosphere. This is a new David Jones and it's not packed at all, so you can browse with little people around you.
It's huge! However, the service is sometimes not very quick, and I'll have to wait for quite a while compared to other shops. Sometimes, there are BBQs and so you can conveniently grab a bite if you suddenly feel a bit hungry while you are shopping.
The Lindt cafe is like a grand European palace, I particularly like the ceiling and lights. The desserts are very delicately made and the chocolate is very smooth and creamy. The Lindt Mocha is very yum, with an emphasis on Lindt chocolate. Obviously it is overpriced, but the place is a first class cafe, so what do you expect?
The large blue Big W logo is very welcoming and when you walk through the door, it feels like you have entered a grand shopping place. It is relaxing to walk through the various departments and you find optometrists and all sorts of professionals here.
The cookie puff here is great and whenever I walk past the store, I can smell the baking aroma. The price is not very cheap, and the staff is not all that friendly and smily. Somehow, Asian shop assistants don't smile as much and are not as approachable.
I love this place, it's so big and has every book you could ever find. The shop is new and the setting is great. There's even a Gloria Jean's in there. There are 2 levels to the shop and so you can imagine how big it is.
This pizza shop serves good pizza with fresh ingredients. The price is relatively cheap and it is good value for money. It didn't used to be this good, but a new owner and changes made it much better than before. Now I like to get my pizza from this place.
I went in there and the staff were very helpful. There was always room for haggling and getting the best deals. The shop is new, clean and tidy, and well presented.
The shop is always quite busy. But the food is excellent, very delicately made and delicious. Although I must admit I dont really like the way of selecting bread there. You have to get a tray and grab the bread with a pair of tongs.
Located inside Monash University Parkville, there are a great variety of customers who come here. This cafe is most visited by Monash uni students and businessmen. The cafe is modern and you can see Princes Park opposite.
