If you are looking to try out hotpot, i would recommend this place. There is also a bigger Go-in hotpot store on Gouger street in Chinatown. Basically with hotpot, you need to firstly choose what type of soup base you want. There are quite a few to choose from, including vegetarian soup bases. My personal favourite is the pork rib soup. Next you choose the contents you want to cook in the soup base. There are many meat choices available and you can ask the waiter if you want a particular meat. There is also a wide range of veges to choose from. In terms of price, this place is very affordable compared to other hotpot places, around $20-$25 pp.

This place needs more market hence I am writing this review.
Its a small little gem hidden down Hindley Street, its one of those ones where you'd walk pass and just think "this is too Asian for me to try", but its actually for everyone.
You go in, get you're own pot, and if you're a germ-a-phobe this would suit you. I like enjoy slurping my soup and putting the spoon back into my pot again and again without being rude and told off. This is one place I can really be myself. Good place to practice your chopstick skills at your own pace.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. You go in, and order a soup base, and then some things that you would like to go in your soup (I'd go with the sample meat platter and some sort of noodles). The meats are very thinly sliced and frozen, so when added to your broth will cook in a minute or two. The Udon noodles are my personal favorite, though the handmade noodles are very good as well. As you add things to your pot and it cooks down, the flavors concentrate, and it just tastes so amazing. There are a variety of vegetables that go around on a conveyor belt in front of you, that you can take off and add as your desire. The service is good, with them refilling your stock as needed, and getting your drinks as well. It is a very filling meal, and not too pricy. It's just such a unique experience, and a really great one!

Approximate cost: $15-25
