Went here as a group of 5 people and ordered one of their banquet deals. The food is really authentic and is definitely up there with some of the other thai restaurants I have been to. It is also in the entertainment book. I would definitely come back again.

Shiki is in the Entertainment Book so we decided to go here. It was probably the most unique eating experience I have experienced in Adelaide. Each table has their own chef cooking in front of them. We happened to have a really talkative and funny chef who made the dinner experienced really enjoyable. The food is splendid and the service is great. The only downside is that given that it is a fine dining restaurant, the price is quite expensive and portions are not particularly large. However, the experience is taste is definitely worth it.

The food here is quite enjoyable for me and my partner. We have been here 3 times (with the most recent experience last Friday night). I agree with some of the comments below in that the price can be abit more pricey compared with other chinese restaurants along gouger street. However, to their credit the serving size matches what you are paying

This is a buddet style all-you-can-eat korean bbq restaurant. The cost can range from $32-$36 pp depending on the day of the week you go here. There is a variety of meat, vegetable and western dishes to choose from. Its definitely a good experience getting to cook your own meat. The staff are friendly and service is great. We have only been here once but we definitely intend to come back again for the korean bbq experience

Gin Long is a western vietnamese + chinese fusion restaurant. I have never been disapointed coming here. The quality of their dishes is amazing. If anyone comes here as a group (6+ people), i would recommend their banquet deal for $45 pp, which consists of a 10 course meal (if i remember correctly). You get to try a variety of dishes beginning with starters and progressing to mains. All the dishes can easily be shared and there is plenty to go around. Give this restaurant a go as you will not be disappointed

I found out about this place through Urbanspoon (now Zomato). The dumplings here are amazing and differentiates itself from other dumpling stores. The dumplings can be either steamed or fried and many choices are available. We have also tried their hotpot as well and the taste is very authentic and flavoursome.

Their Bun Bowl are absolutely amazing and worth it. The price is absolutely so cheap compared to the serving size (around the $9 mark depending on the choices).

One of my regular go to spots for quick and affordable vietnamese food. I have probably eaten here the most in terms of restaurants in chinatown. The food comes out very quick, usually within 10 minutes. The price for their dishes is very cheap, between $9-$15 for main dishes. Their specialty is definitely pho (vietnamese noodle soup). Its usually quite busy here, however, we have always been able to get a table when we rock up without booking. A great place to eat in general.

My partner and I have walked past Ga Bin many times before however we never had the urge to try it until recently. The first thing i would like to mention is that the lighting of the restaurant, looking in from the outside, is abit dark so that may give off a negative first impression, like it did for me. In terms of the food we ordered 3 dishes: kimchi pancake, spicy pork bulgogi and ginseng chicken. The waiting time is very quick, it took around 25 minutes for all three dishes to come out. We absolutely love their ginseng chicken, the taste is super refreshing and absolutely fitting for a cold winter night. The restaurant is also very generous with its complimentary side dishes, some of which are delicious. In terms of pricing it is quite affordable and comparable to other korean restuarants (around the $20-30 mark for mains)Like others have mentioned, the restaurant is generally not booked out so you may be able to get a table if you have not booked beforehand.

If you plan to go here then I advise to call up and book a table beforehand as this place is always crowded and you may have to wait along time to get a table. The food is delicious as others have noted. They have the best tandoori chicken. The customer service is also good. However, the waiting time for the food to come was long. We had to wait 25 minutes for out starters to come out and another 25 minutes on top of that for the mains to come out. The serving size for the main dishes is also relatively small, even by fine dining standard. For example, the fish curry dish we ordered had exactly 7 small pieces of fish and the sauce occupied approximately 85% of the plate.
