Previously I was using another service and paying 12$/Year for the domain and using DNS and it was connected to google site as the host of website. Easy and all included 12$/year.

Then I purchased a domain by Gohosting for 12$/Year and right after purchase I noticed renewal is double of the money. and also when trying to connect it to my google site using DNS, Gohosting asked for another 22$/Y.

So totally 48$/Year, more than cost, not being transparent and having obvious services expecting to pay separate is very unethical and makes me feel being robbed.

I set up this service for my friend and now she has to pay four times of what we expected it would cost that makes me feel contributing in misleading her.

Not sure what else in the future they will make money from her.

Hi Mehdih637,

Thanks for your feedback. I can see how you would be confused, even though the ordering process clearly states the renewal fee. The registration price is currently a 50% off special price. Yes, there are cheaper prices out there, but we pride ourselves on having a 24x7 Australian Based service desk, local staff and our own infrastructure.

I am sorry you feel 'robbed' this is not our intention, perhaps you could contact me directly and i can have a look at this more closely. Please submit a support ticket and i will respond

I do admit that our website and ordering process need work, something we are working very hard on getting right.

I apologise for any confusion caused and will do my best to resolve any issues you have.

I was looking for a new host late one night and i rang Gohosting after a friend recommended me. I could not believe they answered the phone this late at night. A gentleman then assisted me in the whole process in moving my site and domain names to them. Truly first class professionalism to top off a very easy stress free process. They still host my website and i will be moving more to them!

Approximate cost: $300

I just read your review on GoHosting, Very tempting to try them, there are not many places that answer the phones late at night and thats a primary issues I am currently experiencing with my hosting company. Thanks
