I highly recommend Going Gourmet, right from the start from the office team through to the team who came to the event on the day everything was 100% perfect. The food is amazing and evryone i met was so friendly and helpful. I was even given ideas for things i hadnt thought about. This will be one company i will definitely come back too.
No need to look any further Going Gourmet is the best by far, A+ pricing , service and quality.

Going Gourmet catered my 40th Birthday Celebration at home for 60 guests. Jake the team leader was so professional & friendly. The food was impeccable, very tasteful & beautifully presented. My guests were commenting at the party how good the food was. Thankyou Going Gourmet I will certainly be using you again.

Super food, super service...Going Gourmet made my father's 90th birthday an event to remember. They were on time and the canapes just kept coming. A delight for all, several guests will be using their service for their own special event.

“I had the cocktail experience for my 40th party. This was the second time we have used going gourmet at our house for a function and once again the food and service was flawless. Professional staff from the first moment of contact starting from the email enquiry right through to the event staff. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Every guest at our party commented how delicious the food was and I have had multiple guests state that they were so impressed with the food and the service that they will be using going gourmet for their parties. Thanks for such a wonderful and professional experience. We will definitely be using going gourmet again.”

Used these guys for my wedding and they were great. Delicious gourmet finger food. Had 12 large portions per person for bout $2100. This included all glassware for the bar and deserts. The chef and waiter were lovely. So was the taste testing guy. Looking forward to using them again!

My (autistic) brother, Jack, turned 50 last September but due to ill-health the celebrations were delayed, so it was important that everything be perfect. We wanted a fairly casual affair, but having owned a restaurant, the food had to be spot-on! Most of these finger food companies think that making a burger, pie or pastie miniature automatically makes it "gourmet". But not Going Gourmet, they deliver EXACTLY what they promise. None of this frozen, pre-packed Asian "yum-cha" or pies, pasties or sausage rolls. Glen & the team deliver fantastic food & service to match.
We finally had Jack's party in November & I have to say the food & service were awesome! Nearly 4 months on & the friends & rellies are still raving about the food. Jack is also a (genuine) coeliac, so Glen was really accommodating with the menu, & Jack was able to eat 13 of the 16 items on that fabulous menu, which really impressed me. What can I say? The food is spectacular & tons of it. There was none of this measley 8/10 pieces per person nonsense. The food just kept coming until we were ready for sweets. There seriously was not one thing I could fault. The menu inluded these fantastic little pesto risotto cakes topped with brie, salmon lollipops with a really nice lime aioli, rare-beef on turkish bread with rocket & a beautiful relish, scrummy sugar curry-crusted prawns (my 12 yr old nephews favourite), peri-peri chicken on these sensational corn & coriander fritters, & the delicious lamb cutlets just to name a few. I opted for fruit platters to finish because I knew some of the rels would bring rich, heavy cakes, & my only regret was underestimating the power of fruit. Everyone LOVED the fruit!
Everything was fresh & freshly cooked on demand & no microwaving, which in this day & age is almost unheard of. (Yes, people even those so-called 5 star restaurants nuke stuff).
Most people would think $40 per head for finger food is steep, but let me assure you, for what Glen & the team deliver, is was worth every cent.
I'm usually the party planner in our family but always too exhausted when it comes to party day. So if you're planning a party, trust me, save yourself the hassle of preppping & cooking & just get Glen & his team to help you out. The hardest thing you'll need to do is decide on the menu items, maybe do a little decorating, then sit back, get waited on & enjoy the day. I did.

Approximate cost: $40 per person

We had Going Gourmet cater for my Sister and Brother-in-Law's combined 50th Birthday. Great service from the initial contact through to the event itself. All of our party guests raved about the food. Glenn is fantastic to deal with and the whole event was easy to arrange and very relaxed.

Approximate cost: $37.50 per head
