Have had meals here a few times and each time they've been lovely. Me and a friend went one Saturday night without a reservation & the staff were great in getting us a table. Service was good considering the amount of people in there!

Goldberg's is a regular haunt for my boyfriend and I - the prices are a little higher than I'd like, but on Darby Street that isn't surprising. Eating outside on a summer day is amazing and I can't recommend it enough. Good staff, excellent breakfast and some of the best coffee in Newcastle!

Great atmosphere and always lovely to sit inside Goldberg's on a cold Winter day with a coffee or hot chocolate. The food is reasonable for the price and the service is always great.

Go to this place just for the atmosphere! Food is good, not WOW but what i would expect for the price.

One of my regular haunts. Great coffee, fabulous service, good food. If you order from the menu, you know what you'll get every time, and if you want a surprise, check out the specials board.

Eat here on a regular basis. Best value/tasting pasta in Newcastle for sure! The waitstaff are very accommodating for larger groups, always polite and can have a laugh with you as well. While you might have to wait for a table once in awhile, you do not have to wait long for food to arrive. Fantastic service all round - highly recommend a trip here if on Darby St.

Approximate cost: $16

A lovely atmosphere in a cozy and warm environment. Food was absolutely beautiful and coffee and cake was fantastic. A friend ordered a gluten free meal and it came up exactly as described. Service a bit slow, but great in the end.

The best place to go if you just want coffee on darby street, was not overly impressed with food compared to 3 monkeys, but the best coffee on the street
