I love the chinese food over here but its really overpriced. The best in here is the ginger and garlic lobster..that was amazing. this restaurant is really busy, need to book in advance in order to get a table. But definitely will go again

Went here with a group of friends for a dim sum catch up on St Patrick's Day - Rosie O'Grady's had a packed house next door which added to the atmosphere whilst we waited outside for the rest of our group to come.

Although they were quite busy, service was good, the food tasty and I left feeling quite satisfied. It worked out to $16 a head between a large group and we had ordered quite a few dishes.

I was impressed when I stepped in as it had a full house. Plus, a pretty good indication of authenticity that it mostly Asian clientele (eg, plenty of Japanese in a Japanese restaurant, etc). We ordered Sang Choy Bao to start with and the mains were fried rice, sizzling plum sauce chicken, squid stuffed with minced prawn, ginger and scallion beef. The stuffed squid was the best (crispy, generous and delicious) and the rest were pretty average. The sang choy bao was ridiculously overpriced - $24 for 1 serve each (small lettuce cup and even lesser filling). Avoid at all cost. Also, they don't serve tap water in a bottle for guests, and you are supposed to purchase bottled water. All in all, it was ok, but a tad pricey

This place serves mainly Hong Kong and Chinese food and used to taste great, but when I dined there recently, I was left rather disappointed. Not sure if they changed chefs, but the taste of the dishes did not have a wow factor. In addition, the dishes were very overpriced!
