This place has pretty good Peking duck, with awesome crispy skin and lovely pancakes, fairly reasonable price too. The accompanying sang choi bau was also pretty good, even though I'm usually not a fan. Service, as with most Chinese restaurants, is brisk and a bit hit and miss.
Seafood is nice, especially lobster with noodle. other traditional Chinese foods are nice cooking as well. but, price is a little bit higher compare to some other restaurant.-
Approximate cost: $35
Salt and pepper squid was quite nicely done; it was crunchy and soft at the same time. Whole steamed fish was extremely nicely done and cooked to perfection. Ambience was quite noisy and it is recommended to book otherwise you are in for a long wait. Price was slightly more expensive but the value was good.
Approximate cost: $20
Since I work in Haymarket myself and know many of the people that work here, it gives me an advantage as I can usually expect to get everything earlier and fresher and also get a discount. This place is one of the best if you are cantonese and know what to expect from a chinese restauraant and what to order.
The restaurant is very big and covers two levels. The food is very tasty. The service is very professional, with waiters and staff dressed up formally in suits. The restaurant is suitable for any kind of party. They even play a personalised birthday song.
