Can always rely on to be open... Good for big groups with fussy people that have different tastes. New decor is great! Staff are always nice!

Stopped here for dinner on a day trip to Ballarat. Great selection of draft beers, nice atmosphere but the food wasn't anything special. No table service.

We enjoy going to GC's, there's plenty of parking options close by and we like that no matter what time of day you go, you can always get a decent, generous meal. Oh, and staff are helpful and friendly!

Had lunch here with my family on our way to Melbourne. I have to say we certainly enjoyed their double beef burgers and chicken schnitzel. The servings were very generous which was great because after a long drive we were really looking forward to having something to eat. It really hit the spot. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I enjoyed the meals that and the staff members were nice but I cost of the meals seemed a bit expansive from my point of view. The location is good and it think I would go back on a special occasion.

Meals are generous and well priced. G c's has a wonderful atmosphere and lovely staff. A great place to meet with my friends for either a meal of a coffee and cake in front of the fire :)

Love that the staff are always friendly it's a great place to take the family or just drop in for cake & coffee the cakes in the display fridge are always fresh and tasty love trying a different one each time I go there warm and inviting carnt wait for summer to sit out in there outside area in the sun.

The food at this place is a little bit pricey but the place is clean. Main meals are between $20 to $30. The one thing I like was the water fountain had fresh fruit in it and because of that didn't have to purchase costly drinks.

We went to Golden City a couple of weeks ago on a busy Saturday night.

Previously I haven't been overly impressed with the service or quality of food. But on this particular night all meals ordered by our table were fabulous! Possibly the best meal I've had in Ballarat for a long time.

The service was impeccable and friendly.

The place is always noisy and perhaps a little cramped, but given the quality of meals we will def return again in the near future.

This is the lunch hub for Ballarat, Every weekend this place is bursting at the seams. Its in a perfect location right on Sturt st with fantastic food and a friendly environment. A great place to come for some coffee and cake and watch Ballarat pass you by. Food has improved over the past few years, you can expect cafe/pub style meals that a very large for their reasonable prices. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a good all round dining experience.
