Went to this restaurant with a large group at lunchtime and from the moment we arrived we were rushed by a rude male waiter who informed us they closed at 3. He was abrupt and quite pushy the whole time we were there. The waitress by contrast was lovely - could not have been friendlier or more helpful that is why I marked the service up. She was a gem. Food was generous in portion but some dishes were really disappointing. The chicken in the lemon chicken dish was stringy and the beef in the rainbow steak dish was tough. I have never had tough meat at a Chinese restaurant before. It is always tender. The salt and pepper calamari was so salty it was almost inedible. Some of the other dishes were o.k but overall the experience here was ordinary. I have been here at other times, in the evening and the food has been good so either it has gone down hill or I was just lucky the other times. Give this one a miss.

The present owners have been around since 83 they tell me. I ordered a lunch special of Honey King Prawns and fried rice ($14). I was not impressed. This place is kept well, the presentation of staff is clean but it seems that looking in your eye is a bit of a problem. I did a take away with this meal and the rice was dry and the kingprawns tough. The flavourings were saltless but the honey sauce real and tasty. I would like to try other dishes and expect they are very edible but nothing to "write home about, " sadly

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant, but the last time I went, I was very disappointed. The Mongolian Lamb tasted like rubber, and the vegetables were not fresh at all. The quality has definitely gone down. But the fried ice cream is still beautiful.

The service here is amazing, and dining here is like dining in a posh restaurant. The food is a bit expensive as a result, and isn't wonderful, however it is still satisfactory.
