Unlike Micka, I live about one and a half hours away from Got-it-Rex, but let me say, I could live in Mildura and wouldn't hesitate to make the trip for the boys to work on my car. What a truly professional team of mechanics. Warrick isn't just a mechanic, he is an artist, a true technician who knows his stuff, communication second to none, and delves into the bones of your car with passion. Having taken my 01-Rex to the boys on 2 occasions so far, the issue that was causing the car to run like a bag of s#*t was discovered and rectified. Now I have a car that not many will keep up with. Just got feedback from my best man & brother-in-law who have just driven the car, and both of whom are seasoned veterans in Australian Motorsport, and they both reckon the tune done on the car is amazing. My best man's 2012 Porsche GT3 race spec cost about 20 times the value of my Rex, and in no gear could he edge past me. This is testament to Warrick's artistic talent. Good on ya fellas, keep up the good work. If you own a Rex and don't have these guys maintain/enhance it, you've got rocks in your head!!!

Yup, agree with Deza,bought my car 2 weeks ago, RACV guy said there was fluid discolouration with the auto transmission, so i took my car there with the intention of getting it serviced.
Aleck took the car for a test drive ( explained a few things to me in the process) ,checked the fluid after that and said there was nothing with it as they used a red one instead of the green one ( and RACV guy mistook that for discolouration ??? wtf).
I will definitely take my car back there for the next scheduled service, it is great find a mechanic that is honest and and professional (and also closed to home, only10 mins from me).
Note, before i found Aleck, i'd also rang up Lucas Automotive in Moorabbin too, on hearing that i live on the opposite of town( Werribee) he said to drop the car in and he'll have it readied in one hour instead of the " drop it off and we'll call you when its ready" ... man... there's still some nice people in this world !!!

Aleck is an Ex Subaru STI mechanic. He has had many years in the industry and knows Subaru's backwards. I have purchased body parts for my car, as well as rare mechanical parts they are very hard to find second hand in Melbourne. Aleck has always been very helpful, and given me ideas on how to fix my own issues. Anyone that needs any Subaru parts I would recommend giving Aleck a call. He can also get NEW Subaru parts.
