Having looked up the menu on their website I was disappointed that it was not accurate and many of described dishes were not available. The menu is written up on a blackboard and must change daily. The chef is however very happy to alter dishes to your liking if they have the ingredients available which is great. The food might not be the best in the world but it is good quality for a pub and it is good value. It is a popular venue though so can be quite difficult to find a table do get their early for dinner.

This place is our second living room - it is a lovely classic local pub. Rarely too busy, can always get a table. The food is good - there is a nice restaurant attached to the pub, and the pub meals come out of the same kitchen.
