Great authentic Taiwanese bakery and food! Love their traditional Taiwanese Rice Ball, Egg Pancake and soy milk. Their bread varieties are also authentic and delicious.

The chiffon cakes are delicious - so soft and fluffy, not too sweet. The Tiger swiss rolls is soft and tasty as well. I think this place is better than Breadtop- cheaper and tastier.

Hiding in the guise of a bakery is a fantastic cafe restaurant serving Taiwanese food. Can't pass the salted soy drink and pork chop rice. Great variety of bread and cakes at a reasonable price.

This place was one of the first places in Box Hill to offer Asian style breads.

The fact that they are still in existence today speaks of their reputation in the place. Whilst many have come and gone, this place still hangs in there as one of the "early settleers" of Asian food in Box Hill.

Two of the items that stand out in this place for me are the Chinese donuts or crullers - called Yau Jar Kwai or Yao tiao. These are long fried sticks of bread that go well in congee. Most of the time you buy them from here they are cold, so you take them home and heat them in the oven for a bit and dunk the crispy crullers into a smooth bowl of chicken congee to provide texture to the dish.

The other item that is one of my favorites as others have mentioned is the spring onion buns. One of the better ones in Box Hill and not too overloaded with a sugar taste compared to some of the bakeries in Box Hill Central/Whitehorse plaza.

The prices in comparison with other bakeries are reasonable, they are not the cheapest but not the most expensive either.

Approximate cost: $5

Sells simple and yummy taiwanese style bread. The breads are soft and fluffy. Totally agree with other reviewers, the pork floss and spring onion bun is amazing. And also agree the durian chiffon cake is to die for. Prices are reasonable.

Great variety of bread and cakes at a reasonable price. Bread is very fresh and the pork floss ones are my favorite. The cakes aren't too bad as well, especially the chocolate cheesecake which they used to make but not anymore.

This place has a great variety of delicious individual cakes and a great range of birthday cakes. The durian cake is absolutely delicious. Their cakes are not overly sweet or artificial. Just perfect. The pork floss cakes are always popular aswell. Try them.

I have tried some of their cakes and breads which are all quite nice, but the best is their coffee swiss roll. The roll smells so nice that when placed in car, the whole car smells like coffee. Another delicious food from Grand Taipei is their rice roll. Try those and you will go back for sure.
