The cafe name describes this place perfectly well. Everything on the menu sounds very homely. We ordered bread and dips and it taste really good. The bread is very fresh and the dips all taste great. Although we didn't order the hot pies, they looked really good too.
The cafe is located on a hill surrounded by olive trees, and the scene looks really good on a sunny day.

Ended up at this establishment by leaving the Federal Highway, and going into Collector, to have a look see. It is one of those quaint towns that unfortunatley has died since the Feraral Highway bypassed them. We came across this perfect little shop that sells everything from jams, dips, to breads. If we wernt travelling we would have purchased more to take home with us. Pricing a tad expensive, but very good quality. We will call in on our next trip back to Canberra, and pickup some bits and pieces to take with us. Good old fashioned service and advice.

Approximate cost: $30
