I was looking around for a new mobile phone, but basically was window shopping at the time. I had set my mind on a particular brand, but did advise the sales person I did not want an iPhone, but something with similar functions. After having a look at the phone I liked, I was shown a different brand, with more features and would do everyting plus more.
I decided there on the spot to go with the HTC top of the range phone, and after having it for more than a week, and learning to navigate around the phone, I am more than happy. I suppose with any new toy you always new functions, likes and dislikes. I have since been back to the store for some advice, and the staff were more than happy to oblige.

We have just installed a Natural Gas Log Fire and needed someone to make a wooden mantle for the top of the enclosure. It had to be done in solid timber that we could stain to match the rest of our walnut furniture and also needed a fancy trim. After searching around many timber yards, we found that Macs timbers has one of their older staff who is a specalist in what we needed. We supplied the measurements, and it was made within a week. Perfect, and only needed a minor adjustment with a plane. We were also surprised at the cost, considering how much work went into it, even to the point of matching the timbers. Excellent service

Needed some last minute accommodation. I required a powered site for my son and a cabin for my wife and myself. We had done an line request and had not heard from them 2 days later, so I decided we would phone them. The office girl said she could find no record of our transaction, using our reference number. We then booked it over the phone. Lone behold we had two transaction appear on our credit card. I made one more phone call and all was resolved, but the male person I spoke to could not understand how the last person could not find the entry we made on line. Problem resolved quickly. Excellent service from the 2nd person we spoke to. Good value

This review is for Grandma's Little Bakery, Collector NSW

Ended up at this establishment by leaving the Federal Highway, and going into Collector, to have a look see. It is one of those quaint towns that unfortunatley has died since the Feraral Highway bypassed them. We came across this perfect little shop that sells everything from jams, dips, to breads. If we wernt travelling we would have purchased more to take home with us. Pricing a tad expensive, but very good quality. We will call in on our next trip back to Canberra, and pickup some bits and pieces to take with us. Good old fashioned service and advice.

This review is for Lavish Flowers And Gifts, New Lambton NSW

I was wanting a bunch of roses for my wifes birthday, and decided I had better order some flowers before I went home. Both my wife and I work within the hospital complex. I had made my selection, and was happy with price, even though I felt it could have been a little cheaper for staff. We wont go there. Then came the clanger when I had to pay for them. $55 for the flowers, $2.50 Credit card fee and $15 delivery. I complained about the delivery fee, considering they only had to be delivered 10 metres to an office directly opposite. I dug my heals in. Yes I won my case.and I was was advised they would only do it this once for me. I really feel that to charge anyone a fee to deliver within the hospital is not on.

My wife and I thought while we were in Canberra for a while, we had better visit the NEW Westfield. I got dragged into Betts. Glad I did. I found a pair of boots and sneakers that were just what I had been looking for. Better still, they were both on special. The assistant who served me was a litttle pre-occupied, but never the less, the sale was comlpleted ok.Glad I got dragged into the store,. I dont think my wife was, she purchased nothing. Overhaul the prices were excellent, for both mens and womens wear.

Exceptional customer service. When asked where I could locate timber braces, I was taken to the isle. Not told which isle as they do at Bunnings. The sales person gave the appropriate advice for the product I needed.

Had to do a bit of emergency shopping and decided to go to the local IGA, than go back into Belcolyn. We only purchased a few items and the prices were competative. We went out to the car, only to find the battery had died. We went back in to ask if we could leave our frozen items there, while we went around the corner to get my sons car. Better still, they ran us both home to our sons place (with the groceries). We came back with jumper leads in tow. Most places wouldnt give a toss once you walked out the door

For fast food, we could not complain about the speed. But unfortunatley the food was undercooked. If we had time we would have taken it back, but as we were on a coach, time did not permit. The establishment was very clean and I am sure they would have been more than happy to correct their mistake.
