Received a call from Green Home Green Planet offering government subsidized energy saving devices - exhaust fan covers and energy efficient spotlights. Arranged a time for them to come to my house and install the energy saving devices. They called the day prior to confirm that I would be home between 12-4pm. I confirmed that I would be home. I was home - they did not bother to show up and they did not call. When I tried to call them there was an automated message saying that no one was available to take my call. Probably they are fleecing the government subsidies and not providing the services. They wasted my time but at least I hadn't paid anything. If I was looking for paid services I certainly would not use this company given their complete inability to fulfill their obligations.

We had a 'phone call from Green Home Green Planet the other day offering an assessment of our energy usage and the possibility of some energy and money saving tips. We have had lighting globes and a low flow shower head, and a stand-by power saver fitted by this company previously so we agreed to a representative to call. When the rep arrived he introduced himself as Colin Gerrard and he was a Globe Exchange Contractor, a Home Energy Assessor and is Government certified. We immediately found Colin to be very polite, friendly and easy to talk to. As he thoroughly proceeded with his assessment it appeared that we had most bases covered however his expertise would be invaluable in assisting some one else who had some energy problems in their home. At the completion of the assessment he gave us a copy of his findings and any recommendations regarding any savings which could be made. As this is a free service to pensioners I would definitely recommend this Company in general and Colin in particular to visit any fellow pensioners home and to avail themselves of this free service, it could save you money.
