Received a call from Green Home Green Planet offering government subsidized energy saving devices - exhaust fan covers and energy efficient spotlights. Arranged a time for them to come to my house and install the energy saving devices. They called the day prior to confirm that I would be home between 12-4pm. I confirmed that I would be home. I was home - they did not bother to show up and they did not call. When I tried to call them there was an automated message saying that no one was available to take my call. Probably they are fleecing the government subsidies and not providing the services. They wasted my time but at least I hadn't paid anything. If I was looking for paid services I certainly would not use this company given their complete inability to fulfill their obligations.

This review is for Ubank

I have had my home loan and investment loan with Westpac for a couple of years. The service is amazing but sadly the rates are mediocre. Not terrible, just not the best in the market.
I noticed that Ubank offered very competitive rates and a bones $1000 per loan if I moved the business over to them.
Sounds great.
Unfortunately they do not seem to know how to provide any level of customer service.
I applied via the website. Received a call to schedule another call to review the application. Tedious but OK.
Call is scheduled for 2pm the following day. That morning I receive a call citing vague reasons why they need to reschedule - can I do 3pm? OK, that seems fine. 3pm comes and goes. No call. I call them. Maybe we can call you back later this afternoon ..... what time? Oh, not sure, sometime around 4pm. It was 3.55pm at this stage.
Can I please speak to a manager? Oh, they are busy. I want to speak to a manager. Ummmmmmm
OK, a manager will call you back in 5 minutes.
5 minutes, half an hour whatever. They have a warped perception of time and seem to think there customers just sit around waiting for them to call.
Finally someone did call me back and wasted my time some more. Whilst being rude and condescending about it.
These loans have been with Westpac for 2 years and my income has significantly increased in that time.
I won't bore anyone with the details but my income from work and the 3 rental properties far exceeds the repayments on these loans.
Ubank however chose to question my ability to service the loans. Loans that I have been servicing for 2 years.
They either do not know what they are doing or perhaps, the $1000 bonus is costing them more than they thought. It has crossed my mind that there ridiculous behaviour is just to avoid paying out anymore bonuses before the end of the financial year (today is 7/6/18).
I wonder what would happen if I reapplied after that offer expired?? As if I would bother.
A dreadful experience which I regret.
Ubank is the real loser here. I'm the customer that banks love. Always make my repayments and never cause any problems. Losers!

We have used Mini Movers twice and both times we have been extremely happy with the service. 2 competent and friendly blokes show up. They explain the process and the paperwork. Then they get to work. No issues, no stuffing around, no stupid questions or "misunderstandings". Smart and strong. Perfect. On both occasions our moves went smoothly. However, I did notice that the people whose houses we were moving into were having terrible issues with their removalists. They should have used Mini Movers. Prices were reasonable and no hidden costs. Nothing ever broken.

I have used e-go for a few years now however, I will now stop using them.
I received an "adjustment note" for a consignment claiming that a parcel that I had submitted for delivery was 99kg.
I went back and had a look at what was sent - it was a small box measuring approximately 30 x 20 x 20cm and it was a small glass bowl - the total weight was less than 1kg. Whether you calculate dead weight or cubic weight, there is no way it is 99kg. After receiving a few of these ridiculous "adjustment notes" I decided that enough was enough.
There is no customer service phone number. They never respond to emails. They just put through adjustment notes which make no sense, charge the amount that they want to your account and then ignore you when you try and complain.
They provided a good service for a while but now appear to be scammers or incompetent. Not sure which and don't care. They have lost my business.

I would not recommend PY Fencing. I had to prompt them several times for a quote. When I finally received the quote it seemed quite expensive but as it was a small job I was struggling to find anyone to complete the work. I booked a date for them to do the work. They did not show up. I texted, I called - nothing. At the end of the day I received a text with some poor excuse about a mechanical breakdown. They offered to do the work the next day and initially I agreed, although I was very annoyed. However, they then started asking for more money for this, that and the other. When I objected they said that these potential additional costs were in the terms and conditions of the quote - and actually, they were! When I read the terms and conditions of the quote, it became apparent that they retained the right to charge me extra for pretty much everything! The price that I had agreed was a mere fraction of what they would eventually charge. I told them that there services were no longer required and I contacted a few more companies and eventually found someone to do the job. In the end I was very happy that PY Fencing did not show up because it would have cost me a fortune in hidden costs. I showed the PY quote to the company that ended up doing the work and they said it was ridiculous. The company that ended up doing the work did not have hidden charges for things like "generator hire" - unsurprisingly, they had their own generator. Just as you would expect from a professional fencing company.

This review is for Keen To Clean, Springvale VIC

I called Keen to Clean after another company stuffed me around, refused to do the job and tried to demand additional payment in excess of the $425 already agreed. I explained to Keen to Clean that I just wanted my walls washed and I wanted it done properly. I was happy to pay but I wanted the job done well. Nothing was too much trouble for this company. They gave me an hourly rate and said that it was likely to take around 5 hours. They said they could clean anything and that I could instruct the cleaner on the day. They arranged for the work to be done next day - a Saturday! The cleaner showed up with all the equipment required for cleaning walls - ladder, extension handles etc. I explained what I wanted done and he did it. I checked on him twice over the day and he was working hard. When he finished I went in to check the work and it was amazing. The house looked freshly painted and he managed to clean marks off the walls that I thought could not be removed. I paid less than half what I had been quoted by the other company. I have several properties and I will use Keen to Clean for all of them in future. This was a great experience.

One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. TCM showed up to wash my walls. At $425 the price was high but I was led to believe the cleaning would be fantastic. They showed up and immediately started trying to get more money. Apparently the walls of my ordinary 2 bedroom workers cottage are unusually high - even though no mention had been made about height when the job was booked. It is just a normal little house but they showed up without ladders or equipment. They then went on to say that they would only wash the walls as high as they could reach. Washing walls half way up was not what I had in mind for $425 for a 2 bedroom, small house. But it got worse. They would not clean the skirting boards, the door frames or the window frames. When asked how much time they had allowed for the job, they said 2 hours - over $200 per hour!!!! Great work if someone is willing to pay. Finally as it became clear that they had no intention of cleaning I asked them to specify exactly what they would do and I made it clear that I would be back to check the work. With accountability hanging over their heads they chose to leave. Thank goodness. On the recommendation of my real estate agent I rang another provider and explained what I wanted done - all walls washed all the way up and not just eye level. The recommended provider quoted $33/hr with an estimate of 5 hours which turned out to be more than adequate for the job. I ended up getting windows cleaned as well, so for $200 I got all the walls washed including skirting, frames, cornices, doors and the windows washed as well as all the light fittings wiped down . Thank goodness I asked questions of TCM because they were not up to doing the job. This saved me $225 and ensured I got the job done properly. I would never recommend this company - they are over priced and not willing to work.
