I've been swimming here for years. Lately myself & many other locals have noticed the indoor lap pool is colder than it used to be, & no, it's not our imagination.
Seems management/ownership are cutting costs re pool heating & compromising the success of their business & alienating local swimmers in the process.
Damn shame about that. I used to love bringing my young grandson but now the indoor lap pool is too cold for him/us to enjoy a winter or even spring swim.

Kids swimming classes have been the main reason i have used this facility. The staff are very helpful and the swimming teachers are great. The group size of the swimming classes are small enough that the kids get individual attention if needed and big enough that they get the joy of a team environment. They build singing and fun into the routine so that with repetition the kids know whats coming next and enjoy it more. The prices for the class are comparitive, though i personally think they should be a bit cheaper to encourage more to learn to swim for safety reasons. The have loads of facilities such as spa, sauna, gym etc. The amenities are nice and clean too.

The facilities are modern uptodate. You can use all the facilities as a member. That includes the gym, the pool, the spa, the sauna and can do any class they have to offer. The staff are very helpful always there for a chat or advice on how to use a machine or just general advice in regard to yourself and what suits you best.
