Habitots is a child friendly cafe/baby and kids retail shops/baby and kids activities all in one place. It's a great place to hang out if you need a cup of coffee with your little ones. The cafe is located at the back of the store in an open space (they have cubby house and sandpit and toys for kids to play with while you sit and enjoy your coffee). They also have great selection of products in their retail store. But the ones I love the most are the activities for the little ones they offer.
They have music, art and yoga classes that can keep your little ones entertained. Classes are available on term basis or casual basis depending on the availability. Some classes are very popular so may be hard to get a spot on the day. My little one enjoys the cruiser music class so much and I recently took a video of her dancing and playing the musical instrument. She has made so much progress with the music I'm very pleased. Her daddy is into playing musical instruments so he is very happy to see her share the same enthusiasm with music. Mel from Baby Love Music Fun (Richmond) is the one delivering the music class. She is fantastic. It's great that she is doing this in Albert Park as well because it's so much closer to our home.
Habitots also offer great art classes for kids and it's great if you don't want them to mess up the house.
