Avoid! I came in asking for one thing and received something totally different. Uncommunicative and very inexperienced hairdresser that cut my hair. Her Scissors were blunt and stuttered badly pulling my hair when doing a razor cut. I asked for medium layers on shoulder length and came out looking like Sinnead O' Connor. 2 inch hair with exposed neck.
and to add insult she said
"Doesn't matter it will grow back in two weeks was her response."
Yeah. More like 12 months.
Woeful and amateurish. Find a salon that consults with the client before rushing them to the hair basin. Can communicate effectively and provides feedback to show they understand your requirements.
Will never go back there again. I will not recommend them to anyone.

Wanted to get my hair coloured and my hairdresser isn't open Sundays so went to Northlands. Hadnt been here before so asked for pricing before I committed to having my hair done, it wasn't cheap but I thought I would go ahead. After the girl had tried to sell me different products, I went up to pay and it was considerably more than told initially. I said to her next time tell me what you are going to charge me more for as I don't like surprises!! She couldn't care less! Not happy!
