I am usually happy with my hair when I go here, but this time I was extremely disappointed and I wont be going back. I usually use Sheldon, and I made the mistake of just booking in and didn't care who I got. Jessica was nice enough, and explained how I couldn't get a certain dye job done to my hair due to my past hair colouring - which I totally understood, and she proceeded to even up my hair with a solid colour. Whilst the dye in my hair is great, she left hair dye all in my ears, around my hair line, even down my neck, and on my cheek which I had to remove my self. In previous experiences, this was removed BEFORE it could dye my skin! I asked for no layering, and a blunt cut, and she left some weird layers throughout my hair due to misinterpreting where my part actually sat. I also asked for next to nothing be taken off my bangs, and she proceeded to leave me with two massive pieces of hair either side of my face that only reach about my cheekbone. I finally went to pay, and she tried to charge me for $185. I have never spent over $140 at Hair FX for this exact dye job and cut. Very very disappointed, and will not be returning due to the extreme increase in price and poor haircut, and I reccomend others do not either.

I needed my hair cut for a special occasion last month and fortunately they could fit me in. I was certainly pampered, left feeling fabulous, very nice staff.

Fantastic friendly staff that made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Hair colouring and styling is of high standard and definitely competitive with their pricing. I will be definitly choosing hair fx from now on.

I have found this hairdresser a bit of hit and miss. Most recently I had my hair cut, they took their time, were very chatty and complimentary, which was nice. Then came the bill - $65, a bit pricey but I was happy with the result. I will return.

Really pricey , sometimes rude and kinda not what i wanted. Maybe just with the times of todays haircuts ?

I take my child here and while a little pricey the staff have always been fantastic and my daughter loves it. They are in a great location, lots of parking and as they are in the shopping centre perfect time to do other things before or after.

We normally see someone different each time but that's fine for us as we never ask for anyone in particular.

I have been taking my son here for his haircuts for some time now but the last couple of times they don't seem to listen to what I am saying. I have asked for his hair to be cut a certain way (he wanted to change his style) he even had a picture of how he wanted it. When I returned to pick him up, I found they did the same cut as usual and then of course could not be the way he wanted it. Previous to that hair cut, we asked for a trim and for his hair to be a bit shorter than usual. When I returned to pick him up I found that they had shaved all his hair off, it was horrible. Where they not listening. I did tell them I wasn't happy, but of course they could not put his hair back could they. So this cut was the last one, no returns. Very disappointing, Not Happy! I also no longer get my hair cut here. Also, $32 for a haircut for my son is ridiculous.

This is were I regularly get my hair cut as they are always reliable and friendly. I always ask for Stefan but if he isn't available I prefer Page. Everyone is very friendly. Unfortunately I have found that the price has jumped up a bit but still well worth the money.

I have been going here for many years now as I have always received such great service, I do find them a bit pricey, but worth it. They always take their time to listen to how I would like it done and are never pushy. Always very chatty/friendly, that the time goes by so quickly.

They are still located in the shopping centre but have moved to another location across from Neds. Very friendly atmosphere, definitely recommend.

My hair loves a trip to this salon. I am disappointed that my hairdresser has moved on to another place but the second person I've had cut my hair there was confident with my mop. Not pushy with style or colour, not afraid to try something based on a picture, and reasonably priced.
