I have been getting my hair done here on and off for 6 years. I have always been extremely happy with the service and quality of hairdressing.
I recently decided to get something entirely different done with my hair and with the expert advice of the hairdresser I loved the outcome.
The price was very reasonable.
Everyone here is highly knowledgable with products and very helpful.
I love shopping in the shop at the front, there's so much to choose from.

Approximate cost: $200.

I went in to get my hair cut and ever since I've been regretting that decision! I was the only person in the salon yet they rushed me around and it was very unpleasant. Normally you feel quite welcome when you go to a hair salon but not here! The whole time I was there I felt very uncomfortable and it was like they didn't even care. On top of this, the quality of the hair cut was appalling! Never will I go back there again!!

WORST HAIRDRESSERS EVER!!
A year on and I'm still growing my hair back! (it's down to my ears now).
When I started going there I had long (waist length), healthy curly hair and just went in to get foils done occasionally. Despite almost always walking out of there looking like a stripy tiger I kept going because I felt bad cancelling the appointments. Then one day the hairdresser suggested a perm treatment to "relax" the curls (after I enquired about Keratin treatments which I later found out they didn't actually offer which is why they talked me into a perm). I asked about the possible damage and was told not to worry, that it was very mild and wouldn't really hurt my hair - I stupidly agreed to it. After that my hair was fragile but was still hanging in there. It looked awful though - it was a disgusting, dry, frizzy mess, not the soft waves I'd been told I'd have. At my next appointment I mentioned (very nicely) that I'd been disappointed with the results. I was given a bit of fake sympathy and some extra conditioner when they washed my hair. The next time I went in I mentioned it again and also asked that they be gentle with my hair due to the damage. The hairdresser said that instead of blow drying my hair she would use the straightening iron as this would do less damage. Boy was she wrong! I could feel the iron sticking to my hair and asked a few times if she'd used a heat protectant as I didn't see her put anything in my hair. She said she did but I think she forgot and didn't want to admit it so she kept going. When I started to smell burning hair though, I asked her to stop and she just said "It's ok, I'm nearly finished"... My hair was falling out on the counter as I was paying her. Within a week or two almost all my hair fell out, some patches were 1cm short others were perhaps 10cm long - not a good look. When I called to tell them about this the manager wouldn't even take the call, they wouldn't refund the cost of my last appointment let alone compensate me for the loss of my hair and didn't even offer an apology other than "I'm sorry you feel that way", personally I'd have preferred "I'm sorry we did that to you". Even a free wig would have been something, considering...
The fact that it's a year later and I'm still upset enough to write this review should be enough of a warning to you to avoid this salon at all costs!!! Please don't let these people near your hair! Yeah, it's only hair and it does grow back.... but it'll take years...

The staff here are always helpful and offer the best value. When buying an appliance, if they can't match a cheaper price elsewhere they'll throw in some complimentary products.

A mixture of experiences here. My daughter had the most amazing hairdresser but when we returned he had left. I had one of the worst haircuts I have ever had. I have a square face and asked for a whispy fringe. I was given a thick fringe which was slightly longer in the centre (always a good look) and another layer which ended at the my chin. The final result was that I looked like a total box head and I will definitely not be going back there again. I had an older man cut my hair, not sure of his name, but obviously absolutely no consideration was given to what would suit the shape of my face. He should have enough years of experience under his belt to know what he is doing.
