Nice bistro area now. Has changed a lot since I was there a few years ago. Recommend the ribs. They literally just fell off the bone.

this place has some great entertainment. the staff are generally pretty happy to help you but obviously get the one person who can be abit off. this place gets pretty busy and can get very squishy. the food is always clean cut and pretty fast. easy flavors and plenty to choose from.

My partner and I have eaten here a couple of times. It can get a little noisy as there are a few tables, and always seems to be someone's birthday. Staff are ok. Food quality is ok. The place is nice enough. Good place to go if you can't get in anywhere else. They do have heaps of parking too. And pokies next door.

Having previously eaten a couple of times at Hallam Hotel, as well as attended country music concerts at the venue, I would be happy to return for either.
While the food is not the highest quality, and is much the same to any pub style meal, it is well priced, especially considering the serving sizes. My only complaint would be a recent purchase of salt and pepper squid - the first piece I tried was wonderful, but the second was tough and chewy. I was unable to eat it, and it has turned me off eating the same dish again.

The venue isn't necessarily the most beautiful, but it is rustic and has a comfortable, homely feel to it.

If you are thinking about it, I would highly recommend attending a concert at the Hallam Hotel - They are always very well organised and most performing artists offer autograph and photo opportunities after the show.

Generally, staff are friendly, and it is a pleasant experience. I wouldn't choose to go there for just a meal, but if I was invited, or if I was to see a show there, I would happily go along for dinner, too.

Approximate cost: $20

It is a typical pub/family bistro, meals are the same as any other pub. it's nice enough though, and as with the majority of pubs in the area you go up to the counter to be served which is no problem for me. Clean inside, meals are good & arrive fairly quick

Approximate cost: $25

I had a reasonably nice meal when I went there for a work lunch, but the people I were with weren't overly impressed with what they ordered. Typical pub bistro meals/prices/atmosphere.

I have been here once to met a friend and found the place to be a bit cramped. The food however, is quite nice.

I went here to catch up with a few friends and was surprised that the inside area was so small and cramped by the looks of the outside it looks like it would be a huge place but it was small. Great value on food though and service was great

Approximate cost: $22

The servings are pretty large but otherwise what you get here is very average hotel/bistro fare. Nothing special but it fills you up and is pretty reasonably priced. No table service; you have to go and order at the bar.

ive only ever bought parmas so i cant comment for any othher menu items or prices but i must say for a while there they made one of the best parmas, but since then they must have changed chefs as it has not kept up its standard, i still dine there occasionally - but i no longer live in the area.
