love these guys! i first came across them when they started up doing home parties. Now they're a huge company with a new store just opened up at fountain gate. If you're a girly girl then this place is for you :)
fantastic affordable car hire. I often worry about car hire companies & any money they might try to con out of me but not with these guys! Great price & no extra charge for zero excess or underage drivers. They even gave us 2 car seats for the kids for no extra charge. Was a fantastic experience
yummo! the latest indian restaurant to open in the area. Cheap prices & delicious meals. Has taken over the last indian restaurant that was located here & there's a completely different menu. Heaps to choose from, located in the old courthouse

always a nice spot to grab a quick meal, the building doesn't echo as bad since they redecorated it & put some sound proofing up. Situated in a gorgeous old building at the top of main st. This one is better than it used to be, it's run by a family & even the kids are waiting on tables. Warm friendly environment to enjoy pub style food
found this yummy curry restaurant by accident after walking around Southbank on a recent holiday. Food was yummo, kids ate all of there's up too! Food had a nice flavour to it and was enjoyed by all. This place doesn't water down there curries like the others all seem too
We only got time to do the night viewing so perhaps it is better during the day time. We missed out on some of the coupon deals so paid full price. It's half the price of the Melbourne wheel so we though we'd do this one instead. The kids were a bit bored but i think that was more because they couldn't see much. Having been on the London Eye yes that's better but the buildings you can see from that one you can't compare to a new city like Brisbane. Staff seemed very bored of their jobs. Definitely one for the international tourists
These guys have THE most amazing fish & chips! You can tell it was caught fresh that day & not brought in frozen. Highly recommend them. Only $9 for 1 serve of fish & chips

I think these duck rides are aimed more for the kids and international tourists. We had a good time but it was a pricey experience to just stare at streets. Entering the water was fun & the kids enjoyed driving the boat. Luckily we had a buy 1 get 1 free through our accommodation as i would've been disappointed to pay full price. This duck does the same tour as all the others, we even saw one of the opposition broken down. Staff were friendly but it got a bit annoying that they constantly picked on their opposition, even the duck voice recording was teasing them.
Having been to seaworld 2 times before i was pleasantly suprised that it has changed overtime and there was tons to do for the kids & adults. We got caught in a rain storm so went back a few days later to finish the park off. The kids enjoyed this one the most & i have to say that i did too. Keep an eye out for the free kids pass with every adult pass.
we were a bit disappointed this time with movieworld but only because 3 of the main rides weren't working (batwing, roadrunner railway & wild west falls), 2 of these rides our 3 year old could've gone on so she didn't have much of a range of rides available on the day. They have a deal going at the moment where you get a kids pass free with every paying adult. Shame we missed that deal as we bought our tickets early. The staff were all friendly especially the characters. Was a nice day out but nothing has changed since the 2 other times i've been in the last 15-20 years.
