Robyn has been treating our pets for years and is a caring exceptional vet.
Our dog had a tumour totally removed last year.
We recommend her highly.

Have had 7 dogs all treated with Hallett cove Veterinarian Dr Robyn Sharp since 1990 . Robyn is a brilliant surgeon and a wonderful kind person. Her number one priority is of course the animals well being. Robyn also has a great sense of humour. The Vet staff / nurses have a great caring approach to the animals and us humans. Also Fiona Spurling is a caring Vet at this practice . I recommend any one in the southern suburbs of Adelaide to visit the surgery and experience the wonderful caring people that I know and trust

I have always been helped by friendly efficient staff
and great vets.
They saved my dog when he was having a heart attack.
We have had 2 more years now with him since then
and he is in supurb condition with his medication.
We are so grateful to them.

I have had my pets treated at Hallett Cove vet
for 1 year now. They are very helpful and professional
and have fixed all problems quickly.
My dogs loved the puppy school and run in everytime
so excited to go there.
I buy all my pet food there as they have good deals.

I used this vet once around 6 months ago. My dog was suffering from constant itching and our usual vet wasn't overly helpful in this instance so we weren't getting anywhere with resolving the problem. I went online and researched vets and this vet seemed to stand out as being one that was good and offered natural types of remedies and therapies. I went to the vet and she did a number of tests all of which came back negative, so she recommended using a natural type of food, but didn't suggest any follow up treatments / visits beyond this so we left approx $450 out of pocket, feeling a bit hopeless and tried the food she had offered. The food made our puppy lose a lot of weight which was not good as he was growing, so we ended up going to a specialist and the specialist found that the dog has demodex mites (this was one of the tests the hallett cove vet did which came back negative - whereas when the specialist did the test it showed positive). The premises at Hallett Cove vet seemed a bit shabby and old and out of date, but the lady behind the counter and the vet herself both seemed like nice people. I won't be returning here, as I didn't get much of a "wow" factor and my usual vet is much better so I will be returning to my usual vet after I finish treatment with the specialist vet.

Always great service, lovely ladies. The price is a little high, but i don't mind paying the extra for great service.

This is the first vets I tried as it was local to me when we moved here from UK. First impressions were ok because they managed to fit me in for an appointment with my dog straight away when he had a rash of some sort. However when the vet turned up late and didn't give him a thorough examination I was a bit dubious. I'm a very experienced dog person so expected them to do a skin scrape at least. I have since found another vets which I feel suits my needs more.
Having said that I do know friends who take there pets there and like their more laid back approach, it just wasn't for me.
There is also a guy there that is very much into alternative therapies including acupuncture so if in the future I needed this sort of thing for any of my pets I'd probably give him another go.
