Hi Michael I am so sorry that you feel this way considering that your wife told me she was so happy with the build and what a lovely job we did. As the build only commenced in October and you requesting all the additional work to be carried out only in January, then yes there were delays due to Xmas and January Industry shutdowns. Unfortunately obtaining the Occupational Certificate was not caused by us nor is it our responsibility as you requested us to demolish the existing bathroom that you wanted to do the work after we had finished our part of the contract. Sorry but I wasn't aware that you paid rent on an apartment that you owned. Yes I'm sorry that the Security light couldn't be rectified the next day as the Electrician had prior commitments to other work and this was not a life threatening issue. I always thought we had a good communicative working relationship as we were in discussions every day throughout the build and communication during the build is extremely important. If in future an owner decides to use one of their own tradesman contact and they continually refuse to contact you back and delay the progress of the job, then yes delays are inevitable. We have been in the building Industry for over 40 years and (not fly by nighters) we understand there will be many issues to contend with and we resolved all of the issues. We have only endeavored to achieve the build to your satisfaction but advising other consumers via social media of many inaccurate facts is not very courageous. Cheers Cathy
