Hans has good food at a relatively good price. The location is good for big groups and the staff are friendly. Good place for cheap eats and take away
This is my default joint when I feel like a decent Asian meal without breaking the bank. My favourites there are Pad Thai and Wonton Egg Noodle Soup. I have also tried the green curry, and tom yum noodle soup and pineapply fried rice but they were pretty tasty. The only dish I would avoid is the sweet and sour fish as didn't like the choice of basa fish as it was pretty insipid. Apparently for takeaway, they also charge you less than dining in, under the new management.
Approximate cost: $12
Generic asian food but tastes ok and fills a hole. Nothing exceptional but then nothing offensive either.
Another good restaurant to try in Subiaco. They serve a range of delicious foods in well decorated restaurant and reasonable price. The environment just makes me feels so relax, in addition to friendly staff.
I come here all the time because it is close to work and the food is quite tasty and ready so quickly. It has never taken longer than 10min even when I order several dishes for lots of people. Overall Hans cafe's (as a chain) in general are not very good but this one is exceptional. I really like the pad Thai and Fresh spring rolls. I just wish the meat was not always so dry in their chicken and beef dishes. The decor if you dine in is really nice because it is in a location that used to be a restaurant that had meals that cost $50.00 per plate and they have kept all the decor the same. Would recommend if you are in the area and want a quick and cheap (but still a decent) meal. Don't make the trip especially though.
Approximate cost: $10-15
