Decided to gather a group and go rock climbing for the first time in years. Hardrock helped make our experience that much better.

It was clean and organised. The staff were constantly walking around helping customers out. They held introductory sessions every 30 mins or so to ensure people knew what they were doing. Equipment was all provided and since we were students we got a student discount! The amount we paid entitled us to one full day of rock climbing regardless of how many times we left and came back.
We found it easy to get there as it is walking distance from Melbourne Central train station.
We ended up staying for about 4-5 hours and would definitely do it again! Have been recommending it to my friends ever since

Hard Rock Climbing is situated on level 2, on the corner of Swanton and Franklin streets. It's easy to miss the entry, but it's just a few doors up from Aldi.

We went on a Sunday morning and it was very busy, but there was still plenty of room to climb.
The price included group instructions for beginners.

Allow a good 2 hours including instructions and climbing.

Great for families as there's plenty of easy walls for young kids to climb.

It's a lot cheaper than I thought it would be, at around $18 for adults.

We went to Hardrock in the Melbourne CBD. The staff are friendly and taught us what to do. We had a ball. Great view through the glass and lots of fun. Very impressive and professional operation. We also felt very safe. Loved it and will go again.
