I purchased a small lathe and another $8000 worth of equipment 8 months ago. I have had nothing but trouble with the lath from the start. I had to wait 7 weeks for replacement parts to come from china, they were installed. working fine , a week later the lath made sounds that weren't good, on inspection there were teeth missing off one of the gears. Again I complained and was told I crashed the machine which I had not. offered me 1/3 of the purchase price on a trade in for another lath. Hafco stuff is of very poor quality and the staff including receptionist seem rude offering poor service. Don't buy from there at all I wish I had not.

Have purchased a few large tools and few smaller items over the years. They have a good selection of tools on display and most of the staff are knowledgeable about the tools. Some of their Chinese made machines are a bit low on quality (an low price). Other chinese and taiwanese items are very good.
