The bar tenders were friendly and chatted away each time we went to the bar. It is a nice traditional pub and they serve pints at a reasonable price! The menu was varied but 3 out of the 4 of my group ordered the pie and were not disappointed - very tasty and packed full of good beef. The burger was pretty average but they do have a seperate section of "Stuffed burgers" on the menu that were probably of a high quality. Very good lunch/afternoon, hope to be back!
