This is a new café just opened recently in Leicchardt. My husband, my boy and I decided to give it a try on a weekend brunch. There is 2 hour street parking on Norton street with a free 30 min button plus 2 hours free parking at Norton street shopping mall, plus a 2 hour free council car park on Renwick street which is behind Norton street, also 2 hours free at the forum on Norton street with validation only.

There are indoor and outdoor seatings. We sat outdoor because it was nice and warm with the sun outside. Highchair was provided for my boy. Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere is nice and cosy. The food and drinks menu is extensive and lots of variety. I ordered a “smashed avo on qsb sourdough with haloumi, mint, rocket, poached eegs and chia seeds” and my husband ordered a “beef bacon cheese burger with onion jam beetroot and spicy tomato relish”. The size and serving portion was generous and the food was delicious. The herb chips that came with the burger was yummy! We finished everything off the plate. I had a soy latte and my husband had an ice coffee. The coffee was nice, strong and smooth. The prices were reasonable, not expensive at all. We will definitely be back!

We used our Groupon deal and had the seafood and chicken filling okonomiyaki at Kenzi Sake Bar. It was weekend lunchtime and the place was full. Serving size was ok (not big) and we ordered a variety of dishes to share and try. The Aqua Katsu and pork ribs were delicious. The dishes were quite unique and fusion. They have an area where you can sit outside in the sun. Great atmosphere! We will be back!

We had dinner at Crystal Seafood Restaurant on a Sunday night. There is a shopping arcade car park right upstairs so parking was convenient (2 hours free). We ordered 6 dishes between the 6 of us and we were so full. We had fried duck with taro, Shan Dong chicken (I love the crispy seaweed which came with the dish), honey black pepper pork ribs as well as 1 small abalone each. Everything is delicious and very fresh. The portion is quite generous too. We had to take-away some leftovers. They served us red bean soup as well as little cakes as desserts, plus fruits as well! Great service, attentive but not too obstrusive.

We went to Naggy's Cafe after shopping at Broadway Shopping Centre as it was recommended to us by a friend. Busy little place and we managed to find a table. Great coffee which tastes and smells very nice and strong! My husband loves it. Huge portion of breakfast which are freshly made when ordered and the wait staff are super friendly too! The items on the menu are reasonable priced. Highly recommended!

This review is for Waterfront Restaurant, The Rocks NSW

tWent to Waterfront Restaurant for a Friday lunch with a colleague. Beautiful view of the Sydney Harbour on a sunny day. Both of us ordered the John Dory with mashed potatoes for mains. The fillet was very fresh and delicious and the skin is crispy. However, the portion is quite small and both my colleague and I weren't feeling full afterwards. The wait staff who served us weren't smiling much maybe he was too busy. Due to the table seatings were at the outside, there were abit of dust particles on the plates and glasses. Prices were relatively expensive but lucky we have a buy 1 get 1 free deal.

I went to My Sweet Memory Memory after my weekend grocery shopping for an afternoon tea. Their Ice Green Tea and the chocolate waffle sent me to heaven. Yum! Very delicious indeed. My husband ordered a pistachio gelato which was great as well. A very satisfying afternoon tea. Service is very efficient and the staff are very friendly. Will go back definitely!

This review is for Bay 88, Rushcutters Bay NSW

A few girlfriends and I went to Bay 88 for a quick lunch, and we did a very quick baby shower there. Very welcoming and comfortable environment and the place is quite spacey as well, so it is prams- friendly. I ordered a marinated lamb koftas with haloumi which was very delicious. However, we had to wait a long time for our dishes to arrive. However their coffee is really good! The staff were friendly but not too efficient. I find the service is abit too slow. If you are in a hurry, then this place is not be recommended.

This review is for Brew Restaurant And Cafe, Sydney NSW

We had lunch on a weekday at the Brew Cafe. The place's decoration is funky which I quite like. Since it was a weekday, the cafe wasn't packed. I wasn't sure what to order at first and the waiter suggested that I try the duck and shitake mushroom risotto, which to my surprise was very nice! My colleague ordered the mixed herb chicken breast salad which was nice as well. Food came to our table very quickly so we didn't for long. They do catering as well, and my department actually has ordered catering from them before and the feedback was really good.l

This review is for K1 Karaoke Lounge, Sydney NSW

verified email - 02 Jun 2013

My colleagues and I went there to wind down after work on Friday night. We have made a booking so we didn't have to wait as they are very busy and packed after 8pm. Nice and huge room for 6 of us and the room is pretty clean too. Huge range of songs to choose from in different languages and the tracks are quite update. Drinks were relatively expensive but price for the karaoke itself is reasonable. Staff are very nice as well when we went over time, not being obstrusive but just waiting outside the door.

This review is for Cafe Morso, Pyrmont NSW

Beautiful place for a weekend lunch with a couple friends for catching up. Secluded restaurant with water views. I find it abit difficult to find parking though. I ordered the "Cafe Morso Big Breakfast" and was really full from it. Couldn't finish everything on the plate. It was filling and delicious. Finished up with a soy mocha which tasted very nice. Lots of food and drinks items from the menu to choose from. Highly recommended and we will be back again.
