With the heatwave in full swing, my partner and I rushed in 10 minutes before closing to try and buy a fan. Of course, fan's are hard to find all across Melbourne but the staff were very patient and indulging of us. We ended up buying a huge outdoor fan that sounds like an airplane taking off, but it does the job and they bought the price down by $110 of the RRP even though the sale was closed 15 mintues after closing time. We never felt like the staff were waiting for us to leave even though it was a Saturday evening and we were impressed with the professional service we recieved

I went into Harvey Norman in Moorabbin to look for an air purifier. Unfortunately they only had the small one and the very large one, but not the middle sized one available. The gentleman at the store was very kind to look up all sorts of information online, and to try to direct me to the best place to have a look at the mid size air purifier. Once it was certain that I could not see it without going to the far side of the city, we just ordered one in and I now have it sitting next to my PC here at home - for a discounted price!

I have often taken my memory card to Harvey Norman in Moorabbin and always get excellent fast service. My photo's are usually ready in about 20 minutes, and as there is so much to look at in the other departments it is no hassle to wait.

I wanted to purchase a laptop for my niece.
I had a specific make in mind, an idea of what we wanted in the package and a set amount of money to spend.
After looking at a few, we realised that the one we wanted with all the "extras" was out of our price range.
We talked to a staff member there, and told him what we were after and how much money we had to spend.
He checked his computer to see what the lowest price was that they could do, and it was still higher than we wanted to spend (we weren't budging on price). He then went back to the computer and came back with a figure in our price range.
We mentioned that we were also looking at a bag, and were also unsure about how much more it would cost with the 3 year warranty.
He again did some sums, and came up with a price that was still in our range, including an upgrade of the memory, the bag and other items and we saved over $500.
Since then we have saved well over $1000 on items varying from cordless phones to bed linen
