We had HRV installed just a few weeks ago in our home in Hobart in the foothills of Mount Wellington, and the difference is already very noticeable.
+ Our windows are now all dry in the mornings. No more toweling them off!
+ Our home smells fresh. Bringing fresh filtered air in from the roof cavity and circulating it through the house makes all those stuffy winter smells go away.
+ And even though it is still early spring, our house is warmer. Our roof cavity temperature got up to 26 degrees today, and -- with no other heat source-- the house temperature is now sitting at a comfortable 19 degrees. We can now use parts of the house that we had previously closed off as too cold.
