Location, Location, Location. Perfection for Sure! Sipping a coffee or enjoying a meal while looking over the river - doesn't get much better than that! A group of us gathered here for breakfast a little while back and were quite impressed with the view and the food. Service was reasonable. A busy Sunday morning so made us appreciate the meal when we finally got it. Waitress was friendly. It is open 7 days a week and for most of the year, it is a 9am to 5pm Café. However, during the summer months, they also do dinner on Friday and Saturday nights. Everything seems a little bit more expensive than other Cafe's but would say that has to do with it's location. ..... and sitting outside on a nice day, makes paying the extra worth it.

Such a good location, this place. Inside or out, it's a beautiful spot to have breakfast. Staff often seem a bit frazzled, but we've generally had good food and excellent coffee. Would thoroughly recommend the pancakes.

Have only eaten here once and that was with friends who recommended we go. Firstly, such a great location, the menu looked great, we were there for a breakfast. Ordered their "Hectors Wharf Brekky" which included mushrooms and tomatoes. Unfortunately the mushrooms looked more like brown mashed potatoes and the tomatoes, well, I would say just the colour red on my plate. I should have ordered the pancakes, they looked a lot better. My husband tried the salmon and scrambled eggs, said it was great. It took quite some time for our meals to be served even though it was not busy at the time. Our friends said that normally the food and service was excellent, but did agree that it was lacking on this particular occasion.

Perfect location, right on the river frount. Very nice meals but you pay for the location, which is the norm. Great venue to take your visitors for breakfast, on a nice day, but have found that management don't take a shine to you if you just order a coffee on a weekend. That has put me off
