Friendly, unobtrusive but attentive service. House wine was passable for the price. Menu involved a lot of cream and sauces. Had the Beef Wellington, lovely crisp flaky pastry, good amount of pate, but the meat was overcooked. Tasty gravy and delicious variety of vegetables. My friend's Duck ala Orange looked OK but the sauce was overly sweet. We had passed on starters as I thought them a bit pricy. Dessert was pecan pie, generous helping with selection of fruit and a dollop of cream. Very tasty. The place was a little bit cold temperature wise and could do with some better tables and chairs, didn't really have any vibe to it. I think it is certainly striving to be a better class of restaurant, as reflected in it's menu pricing but hasn't quite made it in it's overall presentation. Cost of out meal was for 2 glasses of wine, 2 main meals & desserts and 1 coffee.

Approximate cost: $107.00
