Food was very nice.
The waiter we had was very hospitable and well mannered, the coffee wasn't the best I have had but in saying that its still pretty good, would definitely come again in the future.

Love this cafe! The food is always delicious! Staff are always super friendly and great with the kids (pencils etc provided for them)! Great breakfasts! Can get pretty busy on the weekends!

I went in today for take away coffee as Map coffee is decent coffee. The coffee really was unpleasant I couldn't drink it even though I was desperate for coffee I would honestly prefer an instant coffee at home than this coffee. The cafe is quite large and had outdoor seating could be a nice place to eat but definately they need to train their staff how to make coffee.

food was really lovely. prices are fair but expected more on my plate. staff at times can be really good, and at times bad but if you can be a bit patient that's not a real worry. would not mind going there again though. they have a great location in bayswater which i would definitely stop at again.

I have been going to this cafe for quite a while now and the service is very good. Always greeted with a smile and good morning. The convenience of the cafe is also a bonus.

Recently we held a function for our 30th Wedding Anniversary at this restaurant. The food was the best we have experienced in a Bayswater restaurant during 18 yeaars in the area. Without exception each of our guests complimented us on the food and the service and stated that our choice of restaurant was excellent. The luncheon was at our cost and we found the overall cost of the function was quite reasonable. We would thoroughly recommend the Highside Cafe/Restaurant to anyone and everyone for any function at all.
We have now taken about thrity-five people to the restuarant and they all say the same thing - Excellent!

Food great, service great great feel to the place, nice outlook, best place in Bayswater for business lunches.

Always very nice. The staff are very friendly, as is the manager/owner. We go there a lot for an afternoon milkshake, but they serve dinner too. There is even heaps of space to fit the pram in too which makes life easier.
